Streaking on a new 5110cn

I have a new (fairly) 5110cn that is streaking the magenta on every color page. I bought the printer from a company, it was new in the box and ownership has been transfered to me. I pulled the drum per the self help pages, but it looks good to me. I don's have any problems with text pages, even if they have some red on them, just when I try to print a full color page or in grayscale. The color test page looks great, and according to my volume report, I have only printed 277 total sheets.

Thanks for your help,

Jeff

Jeff,

When diagnosing print quality issues, pictures speak a thousand words.
If you can, please scan or take some pictures of your defective images and post them with your reply. You'll need a website on the internet to host the pictures from. If you don't have one, www.Flickr.com is one that works great, among others.

fyi...... max image width allowed in this forum is 460 pixels.

OBTW..... when you post an image to FLICKR, just right-click in the center of the picture then copy/paste the URL info and include that in your reply.

OK here are a few pics, I know, not the best but hopefully they get my point across.

This printer has only printed 475 pages since I bought it. I hope these are good enough to get my point across. Black and white text looks fantastic, just when I have a lot of color.
