V305 Prints Extra Lines

My V305 Dell printer prints extra lines on top of text, but only on the first page printed after a computer startup.  The extra lines are horizontal, on the text, and spaced apart part way down the page irregularly about 3/4 inch or so.  Uninstalling the then re-installing the printer has cleared up the problem, but only for a short time.  Can you help me get rid of the extra lines permanently?  The uninstall link at All Programs has disappeared so this option is no longer available.  The computer is Dell studio 64 bit.  The computer and printer are connected with a USB cable.  The system is about 4 months old.
