WAIT IMAGE after firmware update
I first called Dell Tech to get help with this issue. The tech wanted to connect and do the firmware update for me. So I figured sure, he is a dell tech rep right? Well seems that was a bad choice as he connected, downloaded Dell1235cn_V1.70.01.13.hd and installed it. However after it was finished updating the printer never restarted, it hung at the (Warming up, please wait) screen. After 3 and a half hours of being stuck on that screen as the Tech rep said it could take a while I left it alone overnight. And next morning big surprise it was still saying "warming up" on the display of the printer. So I contacted Dell Tech Support again and the Tech said to just turn off the power and wait 1,2 minutes. I did, and after powering up- with the printer cable still connected to the PC the display says "Wait Image" and is not detectable with the Dell 1235cn tools/utilities for firmware update. It says that the printer is not connected; I need to connect the printer to continue. I tried installing without it detecting the printer and no change; it says it is not connected. I tried disconnecting the USB-Printer cord and it says Image Error, reset printer. I read the help boards, I read the manual front to back and found nothing with regards to resetting the printer. I read over some forums and found the following that I tried and it left me with “Warming Up Please wait…...”

- Printer just clicked and panel indicated warming up. Tried all the USB stick thing and it wasn't reading it.
Search for usbprns2.exe in google, I ended up downloading it from some foreign site. Place it on your desktop along with your firmware file xxxxx.hd
Connect the printer to your computer through the USB in the back panel.
Switch printer off wait a few secs then back on.
Press stop button - panel indicates download manager
Press stop again and "await image" appears.
On computer drag the xxxx.hd firmware file onto the usbprns2.exe.
The panel should indicate deleting addresses, then after loading addresses.
Printer reboots on its own and voila - working printer!

[ Except there was no Voila for me] Just the “Warming Up Please wait…...” message.
How do I install, update the firmware when this message is showing and I cannot access the firmware tool to update the printers firmware?
