computer crashes every time I send a page to printer
I have a Dell Dimension 9200 and a Dell laser printer 5110cn. Every time I send a page to the printer the computer crashes and shuts down, ending the print. I am then informed that Windows did not shut down properly and I am asked if I want to start normally or in safe mode. I have erased and reloaded the printer drivers to no avail. How can I correct this problem and be able to print?

Have you tried plugging the printer into a different USB port?
Are you sure you are using the correct drivers, e.g. 32bit/64 bit etc.

It was working fine till about a week ago. I am guessing some automatic update may have caused the problem but I am not sure. Whatever drive that is installed was fine until then. I use a network cable not USB.
