dell all in one printer
My Dell 946 will print e'mails and If I find an article on the internet I can print it but cannot print files from Word or Works. I have uninstalled the 946 driver and reinstalled the updated drivers from Dell. However it still will not print Word or Works files..

After you install the printer, the first time you print from Word/Works, click file, print and please make sure the correct printer is selected.
Since you did not mention the make and model of your computer and operating system, if it's Vista/Windows 7, you need to disconnect the printer, then run the patch(printer cleanup utility) to completely remove the printer from the computer, then restart your computer. Then install the proper drivers. You'll get a message, the printer is not connected. Connect the printer at this time. More instructions and the link for the patch can be found at...
