dell printer 3115cn driver with Mac

I have just downloaded the driver for the printer 3115cn to use with my new Mac which is pretty uptodate as being dated October 2011 !   and when I open the installer it tells me that

You can't open the application Dell 3110cn Installer because PowerPC applications are no longer supported.

now what do I do ?

I have the same problem - has there been any resolution to this?

Chris, the link is as follows: http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/uk/en/ukbsdt1/DriversHome/?c=uk&l=en&s=bsd&cs=ukbsdt1. The specific file for download is 'Dell_3115cn_Installer.dmg'.

Ditto.  Same problem.  Printer cost 1/2 as much as the computer did.  Will apple support drivers for the printer?

It isn't an Apple problem. Dell has had the opportunity for almost 10 years to upgrade their primary drives so they aren't PowerPC. Use a generic postscript driver using the IP.
