Unable tp load Office XP
One of my earliest Dell desktops came with OEM Office XP. I recently had a problem with my Windows 10 Inspiron computer and lost the programme. I tried to reload from the disc but it would only spin at high speed but not load. Fortunately I had previously backed-up to an external hard drive using Acronis but can only find 'Office Works' or 'Office 12', neither of which appears to contain Office XP.
Can anyone help?

Having that backup hard drive on which Microsoft Office XP installed is not going to help you in the least in loading Office XP on a Windows 10 PC.
You'll want to try to load Office XP in compatibility mode on Windows 10.
You will also need the product key.

Office XP (2002) will not run under Windows 10 -- you will need to upgrade to a minimum of Office 2010.
