Dell Datasafe Local Backup
Hi,
Thinking of uninstalling this software. I have used it to create back up media (DVD Disc). My question is do i really need this program anymore? I'm not going to upgrade to full product.
Can I still recover my system especially to factory settings if I uninstall this software. Will my recovery discs still work without Dell Datasafe software?

Hi unununium,
Welcome to the Dell Community.
In response to your query, you need not to have the Dell Data safe for restoring the computer to the factory settings because it is in separate partition with in the hard disc, however to restore the backed up data from your DVD you should have the Dell Data Safe installed.
