FAX Vista , Conexant and Classic Phone Tools
Simply stated as I can !! have Dell 530s Win Vista HE with conexant 850 modem .Wanted free fax tools so downloaded Classic Phone Tools . Everything goes fine except the Conexant seems not to work with the Classic Phone tools . Anyone know any way to use this modem ? Anyone know of any fax programs(free) that might work with the Vista and Conexant ? Thanks

Phone tools is for win xp. Use Windows Fax and Scan in vista. windows.microsoft.com/.../send-a-fax

Windows Fax and Scan doesn't come with Vista Home Edition. Microsoft was kind enough to delete this functionality that came with XP, and Dell was kind enough not to replace it.
Anyone know an answer to the question for Vista Home Edition?
