Microsoft Office 2010 License Question
Hi,
If I buy Microsoft Office 2010 Professional with a new Dell laptop, does it come with the same license as a retail version? (i.e. Can I install it on two machines: a desktop and a laptop?)
Just trying to understand why Dell only charges $349 for what appears to be $499 at retail.

You have hit upon the difference between retail and oem versions. The OEM license is only for the computer it came on--no sharing with a desktop. For more info, visit the Office web site. Also good for Office news and discounts--OfficeWatch.
