Microsoft Office 2013
Hi I recently purchased a new all in one with Microsoft Office 2013 pre-installed on it. I was wondering if I can install Office on my laptop as well and how I would go about doing that.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

It depends on the version installed. The stand alone MS Office 2013 Dell version can only be used on one computer. Go to the Office site for more info--it can be confusing with many options. For instance--Office 365 Home that can be installed on several computers is a subscription service for a monthly or yearly fee

You would need to purchase a copy of Office 2013 for the laptop. Only one PC per program. There are several FREEOffice look-aloke programs that work fine and can work with files generated in Office 13. Open Office is popular. I prefer LibreOffice.

Libre Office is compatible with Word, Excel and PowerPoint. If you use Libre, make sur you select a document format that is comptible with MSOffice, so you don't need to keep changing formats. Libre supports many formats, more than Open Office.
