Product not supported - Inspiron 1545
I click "Analyze system for updates" and have installed the System Detect tool. I allow the website to access the tool and hopefully find if I need any updates.
However, the only result that I can get is "Your product is not currently supported by the Dell Driver Analyze Utility." Is there any way to detect, either automatically or manually, if I need any updates? Is this normal, or a problem?

Hi TheOber,
Please try a different browser, preferably Internet Explorer. Also ensure that Microsoft .NET Framework 4 is installed on your computer. You may download and install it from the following link http://dell.to/15QO3kQ.
Please check if the service tag same in BIOS and on the bar-code of the computer. To access BIOS, restart the computer, tap F2 key on Dell logo.
In case you keep on getting the same error message, then post a screenshot of the error message; will take it further.

IE didn't yield any different results, I have .NET Framework 4 installed, and the service tag matches from my computer to the BIOS one.

Hi TheOber,
Thank you for the response. Let me get this reviewed. There might be a possibility that the system may not be supported by Dell System Detect. I will keep you posted.
Please reply if you have any questions.

If it would make it any easier, is there any way that I could just manually check which drivers/software I have installed? The main thing I'm looking for is if I need to install any new graphics drivers or whether they're all updated.

Hi TheOber,
You may go to our support site and try to install the driver manually. Inspiron 1545 was shipped with ntegrated Intel Graphics and ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330 as discrete. Click on the link http://dell.to/1f0ech6 -> choose the operating system -> expand Video and look for Intel GM45 Video, Graphics Media Accelerator HD, v.8.15.10.1994, A01. If your system has updated graphics, you might get a prompt saying the card is up-to-date.
Also, please provide the service tag of the computer and the first and last name as it appears on the account via private message (click my username and then click Start Conversation) so that we can investigate the above issue further.

I suppose I should have told you the whole problem in the first place.
I'm trying to install the software for a peripheral I recieved. However, when I try to install the software, it informs me that "My Intel graphics driver is more than three months old. Please download and install an up-to-date driver from Intel or your OEM's website..."
I tried the step you suggested and still recieve the same message.
Also, where do I find the service tag of the computer? Do you simply want the first and last name of my Dell account I use to submit this post?

Dell's driver is from 2010 for this model:
http://ftp.dell.com/published/Pages/inspiron-1545.html
Intel will have a more up to date driver, use the Intel Update Utility: http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect
