Roxio Reinstall on D530 after Windows 7 Upgrade
I recently upgraded my Inspiron 530 desktop to Windows 7 x64. Today I realized I did not have much CD/DVD functionality. I checked the Dell download site and found a download for Roxio 10 Creator DE (which is what came with the system I believe) which said it worked on Vista x64. So I decided to download it and see if it worked on Windows 7. It wouldn't install because it couldn't find something called Dell EMC 10.1 on my computer. What is that and where do I find it?

That is Is Dell "Easy Media Creator 10.1". It's basically the Roxio program so what you found is probably just an update to Roxio.
An alternate is the free and popular "ImgBurn" CD/DVD burning program. Click Me. Windows Media Player 12, that comes with Windows 7, also has some CD burning functions. There are other free CD/DVD burning programs available and some free media players, such as iTunes have some burning functions.
