Unable to switch off safe mode on boot

I am unable to change from safe mode to normal on start up - with F8

Its an XPS 15 L502X, had a new hard drive and on return I cannot access Normal mode so cannot access the internet.

If you want to start Windows normally, it should start normally if you do not use any F key.  The only reason to use F8 is if you wanted to start Windows other than "normally".

If you don't use F8 and it still boots into Safe Mode, open msconfig and uncheck Safe Mode on the boot tab.
