Where is Microsoft Works on my new laptop.

I know it makes me sound dumb but I can not find it. Still getting use to the new windows from Vista but I think it should not be that hard to find. Help please!

That's crazy! So I need to pay an extra $100 to get something that use to come on computers? its the most basic thing! If I would have know that I never would have paid $700 for a computer.

Can I just pull if from my old computer and download it to my new one?

Hi KurliQ,

Off late systems are shipped with Microsoft Office with trial version, if required  you may have to purchase the retail version.

The Microsoft Works 9.0 installer can be downloaded from here:

Microsoft are pushing away from Works and more into Office. Customers will get Office Starter preinstalled on their system and also be able to use the free Office WebApps but both these have limited functionality, in hope that customers purchase the full version of Office.
