dell date safe
Dell Date safe has failed, unknown, but the master boot record has been corrupted. Local shop has got me back up and running but hours of research still has me grasping for an answer on how to get my original dell software that came pre-loaded on the machine. I DON"T need drivers, I want the software that came on the maching, especially MS-Office.
Can someone please give me a full explanation of how to do this.

Office was never included in the Factory Settings. That was added by Dell. You can recover some added programs in My Dell Downloads, but Office has to be recovered from Microsoft. You need the original activation key.

Remember that Office is supported by MS only if it is 2007 version or later.
