Harendra - the E20-390 exam supports the EMC Implementation Engineer, VNX Solutions Specialist certification.  This certification accepts both the E10-001 and E20-001 as a satisfying associate level requirement.

Have you taken the E20-390 since your initial post?

Please consider moving this question as-is (no need to recreate) to the proper forum for maximum visibility.  Questions written to the users' own "Discussions" space don't get the same amount of attention and questions can go unanswered for a long time.

You can do so by selecting "Move" under ACTIONS along the upper-right.  Then search for and select: "EMC Proven Professional".

Seeing though that over 7 months have elapsed since you posted, maybe you have already found the answer?  If so, once relocated, consider sharing the resolution and also marking the question as "Answered" so that it can help others that have the same question.  If not, once relocated, it will then have more visibility by the community of dedicated customers, partners, and EMC employees that are eager to assist.

Hi - that's not actually correct.  At this time, the E10-001 fulfills all the same requirements that the E20-001 did.  If you have already earned the EMCISA Associate certification by taking the E20-001, there is no need to take the E10-001.

Hope this helps!

Hi Debi,

Thanks for the response. I want to add some more on it. Today, I come to know, those have passed E20-001 before Jan 2012, has to give the E10-001 (ISM V2) prior to next level certifications.

Hi- That's really sounds great, if there is no date boundaries for ISM V1 validation.

Thanks for the valuable response.
