Hi,
All slot´s are enable.
I believe that the compatible controller is the H840 to work with R740 to conect to one MD3060e, right?

Hello
I'm not seeing that controller in the part list for an R740. If it is not validated it may not be fully functional. You can check the system BIOS>Integrated Devices>Slot disablement. It is probably defaulted to Boot Driver Disabled. You can try setting the slot to enabled.

Yes, the two external storage controllers I have listed for the R740 are the H840 and 12Gbps SAS HBA.
The H840 is an external RAID controller. It is intended for use with JBODs like the MD14xx. I think the MD3060e has its own internal storage controllers. You will likely need to use the 12Gbps SAS HBA with that storage appliance. I suggest reviewing the MD3060e support page for more information. We usually have a compatibility matrix on the storage appliance support pages.
