[SOLVED]R620 sd card
Hi,
running R620 under ESXi 6.0.0 on local hdd.
I've to update ESXi from ISO, but I'm not on site.
I've seen the R620 has a 8Gb sd card (via iDRAC/Vflash tab), not initialized.
Can I initialize it ? is there already files or others recovery function on it ?
I'd like (if possible) to copy the ESXi 6.0.0 update ISO on it an boot from it.

What iDRAC license do you have? SD vFlash media modules only work if you have the enterprise license. Also, there are no functions on it; the sole purpose of the card is to ensure redundancy for the hypervisor. I'd say, check your licenses, and if not too hard, give the server back its precious drive bay by removing the installation on the local disk, and then installing it on the card instead. just my two sense.

then in that case, you ought to be able to initialize it with no problem.
