Does the Host Based Splitter in v3.1 work with RPA v3.3 or does it have to be upgraded as well?
We are upgrading our RPA's to v3.3. We have an AIX Host that is connected via the v3.1 Host Based Splitter. Will the splitter have to be upgraded to v3.3 at the same time or can it be done a bit later?

Joe,
RecoverPoint 3.1 and above utilizes a protocol (GHP-Generic Host Protocol is our internal name for this) that decuples the host splitter from the RP version allowing n-1 support for upgrade cycles. Generally we like to see the host splitters upgraded within a week of RP.

So n-1 being 3.3 to 3.2 or 3.x to 2.x?
At this point, you think we will be ok with running 3.3 on our RPA's for a week. As it stands, our host was to be upgraded within a few days.
Thanks
