How to ping from RPA nodes

Jump to solution

Hi All,

Does anyone know if there is a ping command for an RPA node (when I log in to it via SSH) to ping from a WAN interface to a remote cluster?

Appreciate your input.

Hi there, ssh to the RPA using boxmgmt and go to option 3 diags and then option 5 for internal commands. You will see ping as one of the options (depending on the version of RP the menu options might be different). To ping using the wan interface, use 'ping -I eth0'

Thx, Z

Not from the 'Run internal commands' option from Diagnostics using boxmgmt but you can request a signed script with the command and run it from Set -> Advanced Options -> Run script.
