Issue with SRM and SRA with RecoverPoint

Hello everybody,

i can't add array pair with:

SRM 8.1.2
SRA for RP (Windows) 2.2.0.3
RecoverPoint 5.1 SP4

Upon discovery I get this error:
sra command 'discover devices' failed. failed opening session for user to site mgmt ip

Hi,

Try the following things.

Verification:

  1. Verify you are able to open the RP GUI with the assigned user name and password.
  2. If GUI fails, try CLI with ssh/putty.
  3. If both fail, try with another user password (security-admin, boxmgmt, SE).

Resolution:

  1. If the GUI works, verify Fire Wall settings for block ports (443, 7225, 7115) between SRM server and RP cluster IP.
  2. If GUI fails, CLI works, try to reboot Site Control RPA - Login as boxmgmt (ssh/putty) to the cluster IP -> [5] Shutdown / Reboot operations -> [1] Reboot RPA
  3. Make sure no users are locked (command unlock_user as security-admin user), if locked users, unlock them.
