RPVM or RP Classic trying to move a 40TB (yes, forty) LUN

I have a csutomer that has a  Informatica server on Windows 2008R2 using a drive letter that is 40TB  . The host is a VM under ESX 5.5 with a 41TB Lun on a VNX 5800 that sees a VMDK file of 40TB.

Customer would like to move that VM to a VMAX 100K or a XtremIO. Just want to ask, are there any limits using RPVM or RP Classic (RPC) to  do this move?

In the simple support matrix shows that RPC 4.x and 5.x has a 32TB General limit is the max. I don't know if that is the real limit or not.

Do you all have any ideas on how to move this data? Two different sites only about 30 miles aprt with 2 x 10Gb pipes.

Thanks

Re: RPVM or RP Classic trying to move a 40TB (yes, forty) LUN

RPVM can support a 40TB VMDKs. Take a look at the Scale & Performance guide: https://support.emc.com/docu85422_RecoverPoint-for-Virtual-Machines-5.1-Scale-and-Performance-Guide....

Capacity of a single VMDK 64 TB

Capacity of a replicated VM 128 TB

Thanks!
