RecoverPoint Metropoint and SRM
Hi,
I would like know how to integrate SRM with a recoverpoint metropoint solution in which there are two RP clusters in Site 1 and Site 2 connected via VPLEX and 1st vCenter and one RP cluster in site 3 and 2nd vCenter.
How SRM will be deployed in such a scenario when there are two RP clusters in the Protected site and both are replicating to the 3rd site RP cluster.
One array pair can be established between site 1 and site 3 RPs however if site 1 RP goes down, the RP of site 2 will perform the replication to site 3 but SRM will not know about it. How are things going to work in such case.

There's an option to configure recovery copy in RP under external management (copy policy-based) which is available only for remote copies.

That's how you can determine how each CG would be treated from an SRM standpoint.
