Recoverpoint scripting
I have a customer who wished to get a little more into RP scripting. I've looked through the CLI guide to get an idea of what is possible, but I'm not finding a clear answer to what I am looking for. Is it possible to script "if-then" scenarios with RP? For example, my customer wishes to write a script that fails over to his DR site when the system meets latency conditions and dynamic switches between synchronous and async replication

Hi Sean,
If your customer has programming skills, maybe they should look into the REST API which is available with RecoverPoint 4.0. The programming guide can be found along with all documentation here
Over the next few weeks we will be posting some code samples and will be monitoring this space to address questions .

Specific to what my customer was asking, is it possible to script that with REST API?

What REST API does is expose the functionality that is currently available in CLI, at a programming level. With that, anyone with sufficient programming skills can write a program using their choice of language to implemenet the "if-then" logic.
