F&F Download for Win 2016

Hi Frank,

Windows 2016 is not support at this time. We are planning a release for next year that will support Windows 2016.

We are also working to post 2.0.1.1 release to the F&F site now. I'll create a post as soon as it is there.

yesterday we updated our ScaleIO deployment from version 2.0.1.0 to 2.0.1.1 because we are starting to work in production with Windows 2016. According the ScaleIO User Guide included with ScaleIO version 2.0.1.1 Windows 2016 is officially supported (before it wasn't officially).

Could you confirm that ScaleIO version 2.0.1.1 officially supports Windows 2016? Are all ScaleIO components supported on Windows 2016? We need only SDC and LIA but I'd like to know if all components are officially supported.

You are right C0ReDuMP  . Sorry for the confusion. 2.0.1 added support for Windows 2016.

 

Note: 2.0.1 doesn't support Nano server based installs of Windows 2016 at this time. This requires a completely different installer.

thanks a lot for the clarification and above all for the information regarding Nano server support. We are planning to switch some of our Windows Core installations to Nano Server in the future. It is great to know that EMC is working also to support them.
