How to add Nodes to existing 3node MDM cluster
Hi,
Just I created 3 node MDM cluster as below
Node1-MDM Manager Master + SDS + SDC (Linux)
Node2-MDM Manager Slave + SDS + SDC (Linux)
Node3-MDM Tie Breaker +SDS +SDC(Linux)
I configured above cluster using Installation Manager (IM) +Gateway which is installed in another Windows machine.
Above all three nodes contribute storage and I could create Protection Domain, Storage Pool and Volumes properly and assign to above three SDCs properly.
Now, I want to give access to this storage to other Linux nodes.(I mean Just SDC)(I hope this is possible )and add some more storage nodes (SDS+SDC or SDS only) to the same cluster. How do I do that? Do I need to do via Installation Manager(IM)? I am not finding option there. It is asking to create new cluster again.
Please suggest steps how to add extra storage nodes and SDCs to the existing cluster.
Thanks

Hi Rama,
You can add an SDS using either ScaleIO GUI (Backend-> Add SDS) or scli --add_sds - please refer to ScaleIO User Guide for more details on both and the exact scli syntax.
Regarding SDC, you simply install appropriate RPM (on Linux) and point it to the appropriate MDM IP addresses:
MDM_IP= rpm -i
Hope that helps!
