ScaleIO 2.0.1.1 plugin fails on vCenter 6.0 Update 3

I'm having issues installing the ScaleIO vCenter Plug-in on vCenter server 6.0. I've referenced KB493225 which does not work: https://emcservice.force.com/CustomersPartners/kA2j0000000RGxBCAW

I'm able to see the ScaleIO Plug-in from the fat/thick client as an available plug-in but nothing shows up in the Web Client. I get the following error in the vsphere Virgo log:

m-catalog-manager-pool com.vmware.vise.vim.cm.CmCatalogManager

Unable to get catalogServiceProvidorInfo for E:\ProgramData\VMware\vCenterServer\cfg\vsphere-client\cmCatalog\com.vmware.sca.227b2e8f-7819-451a-8bed-6bb1e118fc84_com.emc.s3g.scaleio.vSherePlugin.zip:US

Hello,

Please see this KB https://support.emc.com/kb/464668

Ensure that you can do everything that this KB says to do. Specifically step 10.

Follow this and do a full clean up, make sure you follow the steps exactly.

Let me know if this helps.

Once you have registered the plugin and it asks you to logout and login back in the vCenter web plugin, at that time, log into the vCenter appliance either via SSH or the vSphere console and run the following command:

"curl -k https://XX.XX.XX.XX:65101/resources/plugin > tmp.plugin". It should download a .zip of the plugin.

In case it starts the download, that means plugin was registered successfully. It must be the firewall blocking the ports that preventing to do the same activity via vCenter Web plugin. Check the firewall settings.

In case the download does not start follow the complete KB as mentioned by David.
