ESRSVE Version 3.06 Released
On June 11th EMC released version 3.06 of ESRS Virtual Edition. There are no new EMC products supported with version 3.06 at this time. Two new features of 3.06 allow you to skip the SMTP Server configuration if valid information is not available and the Update feature works a little differently from version 3.04. By the way, after update are the web admin password no longer valid, You must reset the web admin password and set your old web admin password.
1. Log in to the VM console where the ESRS Virtual Edition is
installed, using your root credentials, or connect with an SSH
client.
2. Navigate to the directory: cd /opt/esrs/webuimgmt-util.
3. Execute the script ./passwordAdmin.sh. You are prompted to
reset the password for the Web UI admin user.

I was surprised to learn that you can't skip the SMTP server information. Even if you have no idea what to enter for the SMTP server information, you have to make up something and let it fail before you can go forward. It would have been nice to just let the user skip the page and come back later.
