NetIQ adapter on Linux

Hi, I have a couple of questions in regards to NetIQ adapter and hoping someone can provide a little insight.

1. I cannot get  setup-SAMADP-1_3_0_0-linux.bin to install in RedHat4. I can only seem to install it on a windows server.

2. I installed the adaptor on a windows server. I believe it is setup to communicate with the broker as I see the new adator up when I run brcontrol command. I do not see event in the logs on the NetIQ adapter. Basically how to I trace the communication from NetIQ Appmanager to SAM.
