Skip Mailbox from Archiving
We have configured online archiving for our mail servers.
We want to skip few mails from getting archived which are from particular IDs which are our intrnal news IDs, admin IDs. Is there any way to skip those users mails from getting archived?

This could be achieved in different ways, Are we talking here about exchange or domino ? If exchange one way is to move the mailboxes which you do not want to archive to a store on which you will not turn on real time archiving.
Other option is use of collection and exclusion rules discussed in admin guide of EX. But be very careful while using rules, if not used properly you could be discarding emails you were not meant to discard. For additional security always configure unmatched rule.
Hope this helps.

In case of domino I can only think of using RULES in EX.

I agree with what's been said. A customer excluded a news "group" and only for "From"-addresses. But as the group is been resolved, also the individuals as part of the group are then excluded. So while I use exclusion rules often for system accounts (that only sent and never receive mails), I avoid groups for the people normally should be archived...
Just my cent of input.
