Barracuda 1.5 TB Internal HDD not recognised in My Computer
Hi,
I have a dell Dimension 9150 PC and am trying to install a 2nd internal HDD (Barracuda 1.5TB), the HDD enebled in my Boot Setup and is recognised in my Hardware Profile which says it's enabled and working correctly, but it doesn't appear in 'My Computer'. Any ideas??

Hello,
You need to initialize the hard drive [partition/format]
Start by right clicking on My Computer on either your desktop or start menu. Then select Manage from the menu that appears. This will bring up computer management where a lot of administrative tasks are performed.
On the left side, find Disk Management and click on it once. This will load it into the section on the right side.
Once you've found which disk it is in the lower or upper section, right click on it and select "initialize."
