Clueless about my HL-DT-ST DVD+RW GCA-4040N
Dell recently replaced my old Inspirion with a 600m. It came with a HL-DT-ST DVD+RW GCA-4040N. I do not have any information on this drive and I am not familiar with DVD burners.
I've been reading other posts and gather that only "+" media can be used for burning. Also, I've heard other programs mentioned, but my laptop came with Sonic RecordNow Version 7. Will this do?
Any help will be appreciated! Thank you!

write to DVD+R and DVD+RW as well as CDR and CDRW disks. The
Sonic RecordNow Version 7 is the writing software and will enable
you to create DVDs and CDs.
