I can't record or play DVDs. My "TSSTcorp DVD+-RW TS-L633J D400" suddenly stopped working, I've uninstalled and reinstalled the driver but no results. The computer says there is no media in the recorder. Please, help!
You can try to re-seat the DVD drive to ensure the cables are properly secured. Update the BIOS to the latest version available on the Dell support site. This link has Microsoft FixIt which can automatically diagnose and fix issues with DVD drive: http://dell.to/12d4Uvg
If issue persists, we need to replace the optical drive.
