DVD burner ejects when trying to burn a blank disc/Sonic Update Manager
Whenever I try to burn a blank dvd my dvd burner ejects the blank disc and I get a hardware error. I also have been getting the Sonic Update Manager pop-up so I think it is related. My burner is _NEC DVD+-ND-3530A that came with my Dimension 5100. No problems for the past 3 years until recently.
Any solutions?

Hi, Seagreaves:
It's possible you have a program that is expecting a different type of disc. Are you running Sonic DLA by any chance? If so, try uninstalling it for diagnostic purposes.

Yes was running Sonic DLA, removed it and still had the same result.
