Dell Inspiron 7520

Hello, I have a Dell Inspiron 7520 that was freezing and slowing down from malware, spyware and viruses. As a result we wanted to wipe it clean and start over. Therefore we followed Dell's instructions to put the recovery to USB to reboot the system. While it was in the process of reinstalling, we received an error code of 0x40011000200001005 which refers to the OEM having been replaced by a retail HD. This is not the case, and the HD is actually the original. So we are unable to continue with the reboot due to that message.

Any insight as to what I should do?

Run an extended diagnostic on the hard drive - F12 at powerup. Let the quick test run (10-15 min) and then boot to the 32-bit diagnostics and run a full surface test on the drive.  The system is old enough now that a dying drive could easily be the cause of the problem.
