Dell inspiron 5584 ssd compatibility issue

Hey I recently bought a dell inspiron 5584 and it came a with pre installed 1TB HDD drive. I decided to add a additional nvme ssd and boot the windows 10 from there.

It all worked fine the the drive showed up in the bios and everything. The trouble started when I turned on the updates and when It had downloaded all the updates and rebooted, after  a minute or so the device gave a beeping sound and went into the bios screen saying ' no bootable devices found. I have no idea what to do after this. This is all pretty abnormal
