Does the standard blu-ray burner on my XPS17 (l702x) burn dual-layer BD-R?

Can anyone confirm that they are able to burn 50gb blu-ray discs using the standard Dell blu-ray burner?

Hi,

Welcome to the Community.

Please provide a screen shot of the device manager with the information the optical drive installed on the system.

Open Device Manager by clicking the Start button > Control Panel >  System and Maintenance > Device Manager.‌   If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

Please provide this information so that I can help you in a better way.

Hi,

The optical drive should be able to burn dual-layer BD-R at maximum speed of 4x.

Thanks & Regards
