I have a dell Dimension 3000 and my D: drive has disapered any sugestions.

Power off, open the case cover, reseat all D drive cabling. Close the cover, power on. Go into the bios. Is the D drive listed?

Chris I tried that this am then did a search for bios I found biosinfo opened it could not find D: Tried in my computer and can not find D:. Can find A: & C: Thanks

Then the drive is defective.
