Help! Having CD/DVD burner problems
Hello I am new to the community. Hope someone can help me. When I try to burn a CD I get a message that says insert a blank or rewriteable CD. I have tried several different CD-R Cds which are new out of the box and still get the message.
I have a Dimension 3100 and have a 16Xdvd +/-RW drive.
I uninstalled the drive in the Device Manager and then reinstalled it but I still have the same issue.
Thanks for any adivce out there.

Hi, Jake:
Take a look at this article. That will allow you to check the most common problems associated with not being able to burn CDs.
Please post back and tell me what you tried and if anything worked.
