How do I know my laptop has SATA or IDE DVD burner?

I figured out that my drive not working because it does not read any DVDs (including dell supplied reinstallation CD/DVDs).

I removed the drive and noted the model TS-L632 but not sure it is SATA or IDE. This confusion arised when I looked out for the same model to purchase in Amazon.com and the product says "Toshiba TS-L632 8x DVD±RW DL Notebook IDE Drive (Black)"

http://www.amazon.com/Toshiba-TS-L632-DVD±RW-Notebook-Drive/dp/B0025UKK62/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=elect...

Could someone help to figure that the product match my laptop.  Thank you!

It is an IDE drive. I have good luck with buying components on eBay.

If the label says that it's a Toshiba TS-L632 then another Toshiba TS-L632 will fit.
