How do i see my SSD partition or create one?
A long while ago . . i wanted to upgrade my windows from basic to ultimate on my inspiron 15R SE . . Since i had very little knowledge about SATA modes and everything.. i took it to IT Care people.. who dint have any idea as well.. they ended up getting rid of all pre-defined partitions.. and used AHCI mode to install windows.. which was all very slow ...To cut long-story short...I finally figured out how to run on intel smart reponse mode and got the Intel Rapid Storage technology working through Dell forum, here http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/disk-drives/f/3534/p/19464361/20175119.aspx#20175119
Now i would like to be able to enable the Intel Rapid Start technology . . .which currently says my computer does not meet the minimum requirements when i try to install.. This maybe because i dont have 8gb required on the SSD partition to install IrsT . . But i cant see the SSD partition on the Disk manager? however i'm sure my SSD is working and being used as a cache since its being used by Rapid storage technology. . .I have attached a picture to show my disk partitions . . . How do i see my SSD partition ?

Hi Swetz,
Are you aware that Microsoft provides an in-place upgrade option called Windows Anytime Upgrade?
When you try to install the Intel RST, what is the EXACT error?

I know this has been a long time.. I have replied here
But i already have the windows I want..
When i attempt to install the Intel RST .. I get an error message : "The computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software."

Please try posting in the Intel forums. They are more likely to give you a helpful answer.
