I want to add the following HD to my 8400

any problems I should be aware of. Can Win XP deal w/ a 160 and a 250 ?  Will NTFS address all 250 MBs ?

your 8400 will have no problems with that drive. you will need to buy a sata cable. and format it in ntfs as one or multiple partitions if you want in disk management

Do you have any idea if I can use a new Seagate 160 GB notebook hard drive in my Inspiron 8200?  Is there any limit to the size that can be used in the Inspiron 8200 as hard drives continue to grow larger?
