My inspiron 1545 says No bootable devices--strike F1 to retry boot, F2 for setup utility

Every time when booting   message comes with long delay with blinking  after dell logo " No bootable devices--strike F1 to retry boot, F2 for setup utility" after pressing F1  KEY  laptop boots windows 7 normally. It passed all tests ON DIAG when pressing f5 key too.

Hi yem2021,

This error is most likely due to a problem with the list of boot devices in the BIOS. Please boot to the BIOS (F2) and check. The screen will look something like this, and your hard drive should be first on the list:

Same issue meaning what? No bootable devices or what?

No bootable device, but hitting F1 makes pc boot normally.

Did you check the BIOS as I suggested above? What did you find under boot devices?

Hi my inspiron 1545 says no bootable device  found. In bios it says primary hard drive none. And the hardrive works fine because i put it into another pc and it works fine. How do I get the bios to see the hard drive. And in this particular model (1545) the uefi and legacy options are missing.
