Samsung SN-324S firmware upgrade
Hi,
I am experiencing a very slow start-up problem (It takes about 90 sec for Nero to start up and get ready) with the Nero burning ROM of both versions of 6.6.0.18 and 7.0.1.12 after upgrading the latest firmware for my Samsung CDRW/DVD SN-324S (firmware version U306, A02, filename: R109456.exe), which was posted to the Dell's driver download web site.
I stronlgly suspect that the firmware upgrade degraded the system performance of my Inspiron 8600. I contacted the Dell support, but heard that at this point I just need to wait until Samsung releases a new version fixing the problem. The drive cannot be downgraded to the previous version, either.
If there is anyone who has the same problem after upgrading it, please let me know.
