Sony CD-RW CRX216E Problem
I'm Having a problem with my cd burner. It doesn't read disks or burn. Ive tried with roxio easy cd creator and Nero and neither works. What can I do?? I have a dell dimension 4600. All hard drives are original from dell. Help!!!

First, make sure you have DirectCD (or Drag to Disc, whatever they call it) uninstalled. I would even suggest you uninstall Roxio and just use Nero.
Second, I suggest you make sure Nero is updated to the latest version (6.6?). If so, use the Nero drive test utility and see what, if anything, Nero can or cannot see.

If this sounds like I am being picky, then my apologies not really my intention nor truly my style but Ieee`s comment is not exactly correct. Roxio and Nero will work fine together, speaking honestly I have had as many as 4 or 5 burning programs at one time (during my adventurous days ..lol), the problem will be the Packet Writing program associated with the said product not working with each other.
I do agree with John, find one you like and stick with it.
