System Tools Backup Doesn't allow D: drive as Backup Destination
Inspiron 530 300GB dive diagnostics reports amanate failure. Under warranty and have received the the new drive with Window XP PRO SP3 and drivers decompressed. I am going to clone the new drive from my current dive but wanted to backup using the system tools Backup App. Get invalid destination error when I try to back up the system. Can any one help. My D: removable CD/DVD + /- diagnosed just fine.

Dennis,
I've seen this error with some DVD drives when using DVD -R media. DVD +R media worked fine.
