TEAC-DVD-RWDV-W58E# EXPERION 4600 SERIES
My disk drive has disappeared from the list of devices on "My Computer"
On checking the "Device Manager" it shows a "conflict"(yellow exclamation point)
The Performance Maintenance states>"Windows cannot load service driver (code39)
I have carried out a "Diagnostics" check & the CD-RW works fine & passes all checks .but still no disk drive shown or operating in list of devices

I assume you have an Inspiron 4600. The procedure for fixing a "code 39" error can be found in the CD/DVD FAQ (link below).
