Win XP SP2 problem using AHCI mode for 320GB SATA Hard Drive (5400RPM)

I am using Studip 15 Notebook.  I have installed XP SP2 on it.  In times when I reboot, HDD configuration changed to ACHI mode and windows doesn't load, nor safe mode or other options work.  When I go to BIOS and change ACHI to other optional mode, the Windows loads properly.

How to fix this issue? :emotion-18: How to resolve this?  Some suggest I need to update driver for the HDD so ACHI mode works with my operating system. 

Any place where I can find the driver or step by step instuction how to update and have this thing going on my system?
