XPS 8900

We received hard drive out of spec notice (Error code 2000-0151, Validation 66052, incorrect status = 48)  from boot diagnostics ONE MONTH out of warranty.

Purchased new HD from Dell received yesterday : Toshiba DT01ACA200  2TB 7500rpm

Getting RED X with No bootable devices found.

I cannot get Win 10 install to recognize this new disk in order to format/install Windows.  I cannot find how to do this in UEFI settings, or any Dell documentation.

I have tried several things to no avail.

Does UEFI see the drive?

Is the drive a standalone boot drive, or is it part of a RAID array or Intel Rapid Storage (cached by the SSD)?

Primary Internal HD for Dell Desktop XPS 8900.  UEFI setup shows the drive as Drive 0 enabled.

Using USB with Win 10 clean install files, it boots to Win install and tries to install, but then Win doesn't show any drives to install to.

When trying to boot machine without USB, get message no bootable drives.

Not sure why this worked, but it did:  Switched SATA cables to different port on MB (SATA4) then disabled the other open SATA ports in UEFI. Drive showed up for Win10 install.

Hi, I have the same issue on a Dell Latitude E5450, could you please help me to sort it out?
